Elizabeth Harrop is a consultant in international human rights advocacy, environmental protection, social change, and the rights of women and children.

Elizabeth contributes to human rights and environmental programming and policy making in development and emergency contexts through her technical expertise in research and evaluation, writing, project management, strategic planning, creative and multimedia, and training and facilitation. Elizabeth has authored multiple publications and has extensive knowledge of international human rights law.

She has worked for many non-profit and intergovernmental organisations including the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACERWC), Amnesty International, European Union (EU), Global Movement for Children, Oxfam, Plan International, multiple offices and sections of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the World Food Programme (WFP).
