2 December 2020: I have authored a new UNICEF case study and lessons learned on Cyclone Idai and the integration of multisectoral communication for development (C4D) interventions into the 2019 humanitarian response in Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
C4D was successfully used in all three countries to identify community needs and support life-saving behaviours during and in the aftermath of the emergency. Read the case study here.
